The VP 850A mk5 Gas Freeing Fan follows the same design characteristics as the other Victor Pyrate fans, but differs in that it is fitted with a quality integral air motor. Most fans with air motors have them fitted externally but Victor Pyrate go further, not only do they have an internal air motor they have also fitted a filter and lubricator. It utilises the similar components as the VP1350W mk5 and VP800W mk5 Gas Freeing Fans. Designed as a lightweight, rapid gas freeing, ultra efficient, deep penetration fan suitable for small and medium sized tankers. The airflow produced is powerful and direct, with the ability to reach down in excess of 30 Metres to the tank bottoms, creating an air stream to rapidly dispel all vapours. Its unique design make this fan ideal for double hulls and although this model does not normally require flexible ducting, due to the powerful air stream produced, a full range of accessories and ducting are available for the most difficult of confines. Lightweight in structure at 28.5kgs it is suitable for one-man operation. The fan will fit over standard deck openings, or can be provided with a bespoke fitting to suit the vessels deck opening. The fan is non-sparking and is easily reversible for dual capability - extract or supply duty. All components are corrosion protected; fasteners are of Stainless Steel, with the quality Aluminium alloy casings anodised and epoxy resin coated. Supply connections: ¾",1". Bore hose snap-fit connections.
